Tarun Ingvorsen
Senior Project Officer – Restoring Rivers and CatchmentsTarun joined SERT as a Senior Project Officer in the Restoring Rivers and Catchments team and has extensive experience of managing and delivering river and wetland projects. In particular, he has a background in river restoration , conservation and flood management.
In the past Tarun has worked on projects such as reintroducing beavers to Derbyshire, flood resilience and management in the Beverley Brook, and the conservation of rivers across the Midlands, as well as the Basingstoke Canal. He has also worked with rehabilitation and release of apex predators, such as wolves and eagles in the Adirondack Mountains in the States.
When he is not actively working in river project management, he can often be found enjoying waterways, fishing, kayaking or watching river life rom the bank or a bridge.
