Ed works in the Restoring Rivers and Catchments Team, working on a range of projects such as wetland creation, Natural Flood Management and Sustainable Drainage Systems.

His experience in flood modelling, GIS and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) has helped design and deliver projects across SERT’s geographical area, particularly using natural-based solutions to mitigate flood risk and water quality issues.

Ed enjoys getting out and about as much as possible, particularly cycling, climbing and walking and indoors has a rapidly growing plant collection. During a career break, Ed helped with the conservation of some of the world’s rarest birds in Mauritius.
