Matt has been a teacher and educational leader for over 25 years with a passion for learning in the natural environment. He has opened new schools and nurseries with natural world learning at the centre of their curriculums.

He has seen the inspirational impact learning in nature can have on children, families and communities and has thoroughly enjoyed working with all from birth to old age and from countries and cultures from all over the world. He spent several years building his own environmentally sustainable family home from straw bales and cob.

When he gets time, he enjoys canoeing with his family and camping across the UK.
