Catchment Officer – Science and PartnershipsJosh has always been interested in nature and started scuba diving with his dad from an early age. This led to a love of water and completing degrees in Marine Biology and Coastal & Marine Resource Management.
After university Josh volunteered for the Colne Valley Regional Park as a River Ranger which kick started his interest in freshwater. His volunteering led to a job as a River Officer before he moved onto the Surrey Wildlife Trust. Josh joined SERT as a Catchment Officer for the Loddon, Cuckmere & Pevensey Levels catchments in our Science & Partnerships team,
When he’s not working he is usually hiking, running ultra marathons or playing rugby.
