Zeno Wijtten
Area Manager – Water, Land and CatchmentsZeno joined the South East Rivers Trust in 2026 as Area Manager for the West Catchment. He has spent much of his career working in conservation, leading projects and partnerships that help wildlife and people thrive together.
Before joining SERT, Zeno worked with organisations including the RSPB, Marwell Wildlife, the University of Southampton and Global Vision International, delivering conservation and community engagement programmes in the UK and around the world. He is particularly interested in bringing organisations, communities and land managers together to deliver practical environmental solutions at scale.
Having spent years working across wetlands, coasts, woodlands and wider landscapes, he is excited to focus on rivers and catchments and the vital role they play in supporting nature, people and climate resilience.
Outside of work, Zeno enjoys running, growing vegetables and flowers, and exploring the outdoors with his partner and two young children.
